Stress makes us stupid – seriously… we lose some and sometimes much of our ability to think well when we are stressed. And, using our bodies we can regain perspective, remain calm and relaxed, and be considerate of the big picture.
Communication and Relationships
You may know that research shows that at least 70% of all communication is non-verbal. Learning to align the body’s message with what is being said enhances our capacity for effective leadership and more fulfilling relationships.
Each of us has patterns that come up when we are confronted with a leadership task or challenge. Often your mind understands what is needed to communicate and interact well and yet you find you are not able to do what you so clearly understand. Using the body you can create a shift that then offers the chance to take a different action.
Leadership Embodiment will provide you with tools and practices that help to be more effective in how you relate to yourself and others, particularly when under pressure and when feeling threatened. Instead of focusing on the mind and theory, the focus is on the body and using your chemistry and energy to create a positive shift.
What you will learn

- Being inclusive, especially in difficult situations
- Speaking up for what we believe in, even when there is strong resistance
- Listening to everything that is being said without taking things personally
